The Hunting/Retrieve Foundations (gundog training) program is aimed at puppies 6 months - 3 years old and will work on the foundation skills required for all retrievers, spaniels, and other sporting/gun dogs used for upland and migratory bird hunting. This program focuses on retriever training and the basic skills required to retrieve shot bird. While many of the skills are applicable, this is not a hunt test prep course.

• Initial 60 minute private consultation

• Trial night in my home

• Daily formal and informal training sessions

• Transfer sessions with you and your puppy

To Register:

​

• Ensure your puppy will be between 6 months and 3 years old

• Complete an intake questionnaire 

• Submit proof of DHPP vaccination records up to date. Bordetella is optional but recommended.

Due to living with my dogs and family I am not able to take on any dogs with strong behavioural concerns such as aggression, or resource guarding. If you are unsure if your dog would be a good fit, please contact me.
